This past Wednesday I had the opportunity to attend the BET: How to Rock Kicks event with a good friend of mine. It was a fun event that was hosted by Tracy G and Diggy Simmons. The show had several curators who each curated a section of the show incorporating street wear and sneakers. Fabolous curated the first walk which was centered around the 90's which I loved and his son even walked in the show (It was pretty adorable). Some of the other curators were Va$htie, Syd tha Kyd, Casey Veggies and Pusha-T. Using different curators throughout the show gave it such a unique feel because each curator displayed their individual street styles through the models. It provided the audience different perspectives on how to style sneakers.
It was really a great show and I am glad that I was able to attend!
